Musician Bio

Matt Iverson studied music, philosophy, religion, and electronics at the University of St. Thomas. He has had a varying interest of study ranging from Classical to Rock and in different aspects from rock bands, blues bands, Orchestral and Broadway. Mr. Iverson started his teaching career while going to college and was employed by the Schubert Club in a division called “Project Cheer” delivering music education to underprivileged inner city youth. While teaching for the Schubert Club, Mr. Iverson opened a private music studio called Music Magic. He has been involved in many musical and technical projects since, including directing a group called “The Highland Guitar Ensemble” which performs regularly throughout the year.He has performed with groups like Dakota Civic Orchestra and has done performances such as “Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat”. Mr. Iverson continues to hone his skills by remaining active in the music by actively gigging and teaching.
